Work Permits

Students 15 and under must have a work permit on file with the state for employment.  You must have a job before you can apply for a work permit. You can complete your work permit application ONLINE at https://dol.georgia.gov/online-services. 

STEPS to Applied for work permits online

1. Scroll down and look for “Youth Work Permit”

2. Click on “Minor” to complete your part

3. Your employer will complete their part

4. Once both you and your employer have completed your parts online, you will receive a confirmation. You must email that confirmation to Vanessa.Hunter@Cobbk12.org. * Do not email Ms. Hunter until you have the confirmation. Please allow up to 48 hours processing time.
